DISCLAIMER: The property is located in the heart of downtown Tucson, so expect urban noise, such as trains, planes, helicopters, nightlife, and vehicles. Train tracks run through downtown near the property, so we provide noise machines in each bedroom for guests who are light sleepers.
Hoff Avenue Casita is an urban retreat in the heart of Tucson. The 1-bedroom, 1-bath Casita has a fenced backyard area. Please note that the backyard is not private and SHARED with other guests who rent the front 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, which is also a rental. Casita guests will have their own private entrance via a gate and use a front door keypad to enter the Casita.
The Casita is crafted in the classic desert style and boasts a lovely queen-size bed with a well-appointed kitchenette. The separate living room also includes a couch that folds into a full-size bed. Additional amenities include air conditioning and heating, high-speed wireless internet (150mbps download/10mbps upload), a smart TV with Chromecast to link up streaming accounts, a coffee maker, a microwave, and a gas range.
The space is well equipped. Upon check-in, you will find coffee and basic kitchen supplies/seasonings. Soap, dishes, pots and pans, towels, hair dryer, and iron are all provided. We have tried to think of everything, but if you find you are missing an item, please ask, and we will do our best to provide it!

The property is a private oasis in bustling central Tucson. 1 block from 4th Avenue, 2 blocks from Hotel Congress/Congress Street, 1/2 a mile from the University of Arizona, and located near the Tucson Bike Loop! Some of our favorite walkable spots include Cup Cafe, Bison Witches, Empire Pizza, The Buffet Bar, the Container Bar, and Ermanos Bar. All within a 10-minute or less walk!
Park at the house, then venture out on foot or by bike to explore downtown. If you didn't bring a bike, there are TEP rental bikes at the corner of 9th and 4th Ave in front of Dillinger Brewing Company. Hop on the Tucson Link tram to access all of downtown and the University of Arizona.
PETS: This is a pet-friendly home, and guests are welcome to bring their furry friends! There is a limit of two pets, and the associated fees are $58 for one pet and $90 for two pets. (Fees are charged per stay, not per night. For two pets, $58 is included in the initial reservation payment, and an additional fee request is sent after booking.) We ask that pets not be allowed on the furniture and that guests pick up and discard any droppings.
PACKAGES & MAIL: If you need to receive packages or mail during your stay, please DO NOT plan to have anything delivered to the property. Instead, please plan to have packages or mail delivered to an Amazon locker, FedEx location, etc.
SOFA BED: Please let us know if you plan to use the sofa bed so we can have bedding ready for your stay.
