Thank you for looking at Parkside Cottage, which is located on the east side of Bend's Mid-town area, known to be a lovely scenic part of Bend while still having more affordable rentals these days. The home's back gate opens directly into the beloved Hollinshead Park, a haven for eastside locals walking their dogs, and it's also home to the Hollinshead Barn & Event Center. (If you're attending a wedding or event in the park's event center, it's a key location for you). Located on Viking Ave, Parkside Cottage is placed at the top end of one of East Bend's most pristine neighborhood streets where we are all friends and it also captures one of the best sunsets daily. The house is old school Bend, with two beds, one bath, and large front and back yards.
Rooms include a master with pillowtop queen bed (brand new) and guest room with a classic maple framed full-size bed and sleeper couch for an extra person to crash out on. The kitchen includes a stovetop/oven, microwave, toaster oven, and crock-pot with a double basin sink setup. The dining table seats up to six and all dining utensils are provided for proper meal service.
Family vacations: Parkside Cottage is on a family-friendly street where you'll see the classic looking Bend moms toting their little ones in strollers as they get their daily walk in. Families are most welcome. And while there is bed space for up to four adults, the extra sleeping arrangements top out at about can accommodate up to three children.
Doggy wonderland: Bend is dubbed America's Most Dog-Friendly Town. And it would be a crime to prohibit guests from bringing their dog along to a place that sits alongside one of the best dog parks in the city limits. Hollingshead Park is the place for locals to get a dog run in or let their pooches mingle. For this reason, Parkside Cottage has declared itself dog-friendly. Fear not, if the four-legged friends are not your thing, you'll still love staying here. The cleaning staff is super detailed in order to keep the place clean as a whistle for the next guest, dogs, or no dogs!
