4 Bedroom House in Sebastopol
Large, bright, private home located far off the road down a long driveway on five open acres. The home has beautiful views from every window; meadow, vineyard, eucalyptus grove, rolling hills, distant mountains.
Our three (plus study with futon) bedroom home has a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, including a six-burner 36 inch oven and stove. There is an attached family room with great views, a gas fireplace and a 60 inch flat screen tv with cable, netflix, on demand, etc. There is also a formal dining room and a study downstairs with a full-size futon. Upstairs there is a primary suite with nearly panoromic nature views, a king size bed, a sitting area with small table, arm chair and queen-size futon sofa/bed, a flat screen tv with cable etc. It also has its own bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is extremely large with a twin oner twin bunk bed, a queen over queen bunkbed and a queen size futon bed, vineyard and farm views and a sitting area. The third bedroom is a smaller bedroom with a queen-size bed and also nice views of orchards. The fourth "bedroom" is our study which has a queen size bed. We also have a covered wrap around front porch and an over-sized back deck with areas of sunshine, areas shaded by wisteria and grape arbors and quintessential wine country views. In the warm season the back deck is the perfect setting for an outdoor dinner or entertaining. In summer you can pick ripe fruit right off our trees and veggies from the gardens. (Note: while you may see reference to a hot tub in reviews we no longer offer the hot tub for guest use).
This home is located in the Twin Hills area of Sebastopol. This desirable area is known for its rolling hills, apple orchards, vineyards and Christmas Tree farms. There are many beautiful walks to take right out the door. While you may feel far away from it all, downtown Sebastopol is less than a ten minute drive, and door to door we are twenty minutes to the beaches of Bodega Bay taking scenic back roads right from our neighborhood. We are also a short drive to three main wine tasting roads, the Russian River and Armstrong Redwood Forest. There are three main wine tasting routes nearby. For chardonnay and pinot noirs you can stay right in our appellation, the Russian River Valley, and Olivet Raod to River Road for many small, family operated wineries. Many sparkling wines are from this area as well. In Healdsburg there is Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys for merlots, zinfandels and cabernet sauvignon. All of these and more are nearby. Right in Sebastopol there is Iron Horse Vineyards, Lynmar, Balletto, Russian River Vineyards, Dutton Family Wines, Taft Winery and many have access to all areas except the garage, where we store our stuff. There is ample parking for several cars.
Another thing to note is we do have dogs and outdoor cats, so this is probably not the best rental for people with animal allergies.
We may be here to greet the guests and then will be off the property but close by and available by text to answer any questions or address any problems.
This is a legal rental property and is closely regulated by the county. While it is a great place to have a party, noise must be reduced to a minimum after 9 pm. Sonoma County ordinances require quiet hours between 9 pm -7 am. If the county gets three complaints I lose my rental license, so relax, enjoy, but no big loud parties. TOT cert No. 1513 N
